Finished just in time for the first snows (three times before Halloween). I like the Japanese feel of the design that I modified from a photo I saw. It's 75' of rough cedar with stainless steel fasteners. I hand dug all 15 post holes 40" down to get below the frost line, which is probably overkill. I put the posts on about 4" of crushed stone, followed by about 2" more of crushed stone, then concrete for the remaining 34". I used lag bolts in the posts to give the concrete something to grab onto.
